My supervisory philosophy balances autonomy and support, guiding decision-making when needed. I tailor my approach based on students’ level of study, providing more structure to undergraduates and more freedom to PhD students. Through milestones and deadlines, I encourage accountability, adjusting my support based on students’ task approaches. I believe effective learning comes from gaining knowledge and learning from mistakes through trial and error.
